Seeing as some people are having trouble following the rules, I figured I'd re-submit a few journals.
UPDATESMarching band season is starting up again. I know it is. I'll try to get my own pictures, etc, but faithful club members need to do the same. Remember, band, and artistic. (Or deviantart related art.)
I'd like to pose a reminder to everyone out there to fave the original deviations!
What is ~tots-on-fire? Well, I'm glad you asked. ~tots-on-fire is a club here on deviantART devoted to the fine art of marching band. Are you in marching band at school? If you aren't, were you or do you wish you were? Are you obsessed with it? Do you eat, sleep and breathe -- live band? Do you just love it in general? Are you a "band geek?" Well, if any of those questions apply to you, then this is a club for you.
The basic concept of this club is a place where band geeks, or as some of you might call them, "bandos" can share band related art. While the movement and music is an art in itself, it can also be captured in other ways, and here is a place where it can be shared with everyone.
Now aren't you convinced? Don't you want to be a part of ~tots-on-fire? Oh, you're probably wondering about the name of the club.
It's a funny story, to some anyway.
Tots is a trombone player on the marching band that I, (*undefinedromance89) am a part of. In a moment of craziness, myself and some other bandos thought of flaming trombones in a parade. We then thought, "what if Tots was on fire. In which I shouted "Tots on fire!?!" It all eventually led to this.
So what if you don't know who Tots is? (By the way, that's just a nick name.) Well, that's okay. It really is just a way to simulate the craziness of marching band in a single name. It simulates the inside jokes that only people in band get... that the rest of the school looks on in confusion because of it. And isn't that fun?
